– Rep. Todd Polinchock (R-Bucks) announced Warrington Township has received a Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) grant to continue building upon Lions Pride Park with the construction of a multi-purpose community building featuring a covered terrace.
“Lions Pride Park has been an incredible asset to our town. Whether it be increased physical activity, community engagement or providing continued economic boosts, it has played an invaluable part in growing this area. I’m pleased to see continued improvements and upgrades flow into this park,” said Polinchock. “This grant funding will provide our community with a wonderful building to host a number of meetings, groups and activities year-round.”
Lions Pride Park has received $500,000 in RACP grant funding to construct a community building which will feature a covered outdoor terrace. The space will be constructed to house a multi-purpose room, kitchen, office, storage space, rental window for games and a concession stand.
The Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) is a grant program funding regional economic, cultural, civic, recreational, and historical improvement projects throughout the Commonwealth.
