CHALFONT – Rep. Todd Polinchock (R-Bucks) today congratulated Central Bucks School District and Pennridge School District on receiving School Safety and Security grants to continue protection and prevention efforts.

“As a father of two, I understand how important it is to make sure our children feel safe and protected while at school,” Polinchock said. “I am incredibly thankful for grants like these that ensure our students are feeling secure and taken care of so that they are able to focus on their education.”

Central Bucks School District and Pennridge School District have each been awarded $45,000 to improve school safety and security within the school districts.

The grants awarded will fund the following categories:

• Central Bucks School District – Safety assessments, conflict resolution and school police officer training.
