CHALFONT – Rep. Todd Polinchock (R-Bucks) today announced New Britain Civic Association received a grant from DCNR’s Bureau of Recreation and Conservation.

New Britain Civic Association received $30,300 to prepare a development plan for the 14-acre land of Covered Bridge Park in New Britain Township.

“Covered Bridge Park is such a beautiful location and this grant will help to make an already wonderful place into yet another shining spot in New Britain for our families to enjoy,” said Polinchock.

The Covered Bridge Park development plan is funded by the DCNR Recreation and Conservation Grant. The DCNR Recreation and Conservation Grants are aimed to fund projects that encourage conservation, build recreation and enhance local parks.
