– Rep. Todd Polinchock (R-Chalfont) announced six local roadways have received funding through a contracting company in Hilltown Township as part of a project to repair and resurface state roads.
“I’m thrilled for our community in receiving this funding as it will dramatically restore our roads and improve driving conditions throughout the district,” said Polinchock.
Roadways in the area receiving funding for construction include:
New Galena Road between Hilltown Pike and Barclay Road in New Britain Township.
Hilltown Pike between Callowhill Road and Dublin Road in Hilltown Township.
Hilltown Pike between Route 309 (Bethlehem Pike) and Route 152 (Limekiln Pike) in New Britain and Hilltown townships.
Diamond Street between Route 113 (Souderton Pike) and the Sellersville Borough line in West Rockhill and Hilltown townships.
County Line Road/Main Street between Bethlehem Pike and Hillcroft Way in Telford, West Rockhill and Hilltown townships.
Bethlehem Pike between Route 309 (Sellersville Pike) and Route 152 (State Road) in West Rockhill and Hilltown townships.
The funding will be provided through a PennDOT contract worth over $10 million with Blooming Glen Contractors Inc., of Bucks County, to improve and repave several state roads throughout the county.
