CHALFONT – Rep. Todd Polinchock (R-Bucks) today congratulated Plumstead Christian Lower School and St. Joseph/St. Robert Catholic School on receiving School Safety and Security grants to continue protection and prevention efforts.
“Having the assurance our children are protected and safe while at school is a feeling second to none,” Polinchock said. “I am grateful our community takes school safety and education hand in hand, prioritizing both without compromise of the other.”
School Safety Grants have been awarded to Plumstead Christian Lower School for worth over $400 and St. Joseph/St. Robert Catholic School for worth over $5,000. Both schools have been granted funds for IU Non-Public equipment.
The Pennsylvania Department of Education has invested $9.4 million in Safe School Grants for the 2020-21 school year. The grants are used to prevent and reduce violent incidents, provide for safety equipment, and training and compensation of school resource and police officers.
