HARRISBURG-Rep. Todd Polinchock (R-Chalfont) today announced the Office of the State Fire Commissioner has approved eight grants to fund local fire, EMS and emergency services departments.
“I am proud to support those who work tirelessly in keeping our families, neighbors and communities safe. Our fire and emergency medical services personnel are so valued in the community, they deserve this funding to continue operations in a smooth manner,” Polinchock said.
Chalfont Chemical Fire Engine Company No. 1 has been awarded $14,248; Chalfont Emergency Medical Services Inc. has been awarded $9,192; Dublin Volunteer Fire Company has been awarded $12,426; Hilltown Township Volunteer Fire Co. has been awarded $14,248; Silverdale Volunteer Fire Company has been awarded $12,467; Warrington Community Ambulance Corps has been awarded $9,192; Warrington Township Fire Company No. 1 has been awarded $14,248; and Warrington Township Dept. of Emergency Services has been awarded$13, 563.
Grants are to fund and support fire companies, emergency medical services and volunteer rescue squads by funding projects based on the needs of their facilities, equipment, debt reduction, training, education and careers development.
