Polinchock Announces Transportation Grant to Strengthen Dublin Town Center Business District
11/12/2019
CHALFONT – Rep. Todd Polinchock (R-Bucks) today announced Dublin Town Center received a grant from the Multimodal Transportation Fund.

Dublin Town Center has been awarded $700,000 to expand and revitalize their business district by improving traffic conditions in the surrounding area.

Dublin Township’s project include construction of turning lanes, road widening, installation of traffic lights as well as street lighting, in addition to an extra road that will help reduce traffic on Main Street. The Dublin Town Center transportation project will help reroute traffic to areas of minimal congestion, allow for the connection of new businesses and give pedestrians and visitors the opportunity to use crosswalks and access the surrounding businesses.

“I am thrilled to see this project coming to life for Dublin Town Center, this is going to open up the business district, cut down traffic congestion and create endless opportunities for our area,” said Polinchock. “Bucks County has been witnessing a great improvement in transportation and we hope to continue this trend with these two grants.”

In addition to a grant for Dublin Town Center, Polinchock announced Warrington Township has also received a Multimodal Transportation Fund to make Easton Road more accessible to emergency vehicles during times of excessive traffic.

Dublin Town Center and Warrington Township projects are both funded by the Multimodal Transportation Fund.
